Butterfly in my front yard

Today was my first day learning to use my new camera. It has been a while since I have taken photos on a regular basis, and my skills are definitely rusty (and were probably not that great before). My new camera is a Canon EOS 60D. The only lens I have so far is the EFS 18-135mm. I love doing close up photography so hopefully I will eventually get a macro lens. This was taken using just the default action photo settings because the butterflies wings were moving like crazy, and I was afraid it was going to fly away any second. I will definitely take this butterfly sighting as an opportunity to re-learn about apertures and shutter speeds.
